Dr. Banisad joined Summit Nephrology in the summer of 2025. He sees patients in the Summit Roseville office and dialysis units in Roseville. He was born and raised in Iraq, where he completed his medical degree at the University of Sulaimani College of Medicine. He immigrated to the United States in 2014 and went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship at the Detroit Medical Center / Wayne State University.
Dr. Banisad is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. He believes that every patient should be treated with the same level of care and respect he would want for his own family members. He values building long-term relationships with his patients based on trust, communication, and support. His clinical focus is on slowing the progression of kidney disease and preventing complications through education, close monitoring, and individualized treatment plans. He is committed to helping his patients achieve and maintain the best possible quality of life.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Banisad enjoys working on home improvement projects and considers himself a hands-on problem solver. He takes pride in tackling projects around the house and has a well-equipped garage to support his hobbies. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, flying drones, and spending quality time outdoors with his wife and children.
